Gold purity explained
Pure 24 karat gold is too soft for jewellery that is worn every day, so it is alloyed with other metals. The karat number tells you how much pure gold the alloy contains, and the hallmark stamped inside your ring confirms it.

Which metal suits your skin tone?
As a rule of thumb, yellow and rose gold flatter warm and olive skin tones, while white gold and platinum complement cool and fair skin. But jewellery is personal: if she loves the look, it is the right choice. Look at the metals she already wears and you will know.
Does the metal change the look of the diamond?
With lower colour grades, yellow gold can warm up the look of a diamond, which is why many brands set their diamonds in white claws. Because all BEUSÉA centre diamonds are D colour, they stay icy white in any metal, even in warm yellow or rose gold.

Caring for your metal
All precious metals collect fine surface marks over time. They are part of a life well lived and can always be polished away. Remove your ring for heavy work, sport and swimming, clean it gently with warm soapy water, and bring it in for a professional polish or a rhodium refresh whenever you like.
