Production Process

Our crafting journey begins with your idea. Using advanced 3D Computer-Aided Design(CAD), our artisans translate your vision into a highly detailed virtual model. This allows you to see every curve and contour before a physical prototype exists. Once finalised, the CAD model is printed in wax and encased in a plaster-like “investment” to create a mould. Liquid precious metal—chosen by you—is then poured in, cooled, and cast into the exact shape of your design.

Polishing & Refining: Crafting the Shine

With the raw form in hand, our polishers go to work. Using specialized polishing wheels and buffing compounds, they meticulously smooth every surface—visible or hidden—until your piece gleams with a brilliant, mirror-like finish. Special care is taken around delicate areas such as prongs and claws to ensure they’re polished beautifully without compromising strength.

Setting the Stone: Where Beauty Meets Strength

For rings featuring multiple stones or a hidden halo, precision is key. Each stone rests in a carefully drilled seat, while a supportive basket and gallery, crafted from stems beneath the setting, allow light to play through every facet. Our experienced gem setters then place each stone and carefully shape metal claws around it—adjusting for size, ensuring security, and optimizing brilliance. Finally, the centre stone is set, its foundation designed to endure daily life with strength and elegance.

Final Touches & Rigorous Inspection

Before your Beuséa piece leaves our workshop, it undergoes thorough quality checks—including microscopic inspection under up to 50× magnification. Experts confirm prong security, polish quality, symmetry, and stone alignment meet both your expectations and our uncompromising standards. After inspection, your piece receives one last clean and polish to ensure it arrives radiant and flawless.
